New Audio Experience: Awaken Your Soul and Remember Who You Are
Resonating with something leads to attraction.
This is how the Law of Attraction is flawed. It’s flawed as an educational concept and as a tool for creating personal change. It’s flawed in the way we teach it, the way it’s written about, and hence the way we understand it.
Proclaiming to someone that they need to attract what they want in life or become a magnet for it is vague as a teaching and a bit too out there for most. Truly, how the hell do you simply “attract” something? What do you do with that? Do you get one of those u-shaped magnets and walk around with it all day hoping to catch lightning in a bottle?
Modern, commercialized Law of Attraction teachings are flawed because they only focus on the second half of the story. Attraction is actually the end result but not the means for how manifesting works.
Secondly, “Hollywood” Law of Attraction leads you to believe that if you simply think about what you desire and mentally focus on it for long enough, you will begin to attract it.
Here’s what might be a hard truth for many: thinking, hoping, praying, and wishing for what you want doesn’t bring it forth into your life.
Working yourself into what Napolean Hill refers to in his classic Think and Grow Rich as a “white-hot desire” is not enough to manifest outcomes, create results, or achieve goals.
You need to resonate with the thing you wish to have or the outcome you wish to experience.
Resonance creates your reality whether you know it or not. You’re resonating with something right this very second. Hopefully, it’s this essay. Maybe it’s a song you’re listening to. Or maybe your mind is elsewhere fixated on all that you have to get done today.
Whatever you resonate with for better or worse will craft the story of your life.
This is the Law of Resonance.
Another way to think of this: what are you interested in? Because you resonate with what you’re interested in. So, what sparks your curiosity? However, resonance 10Xs your interests and curiosities.
Think about how it feels to truly resonate with something or someone. You want to capture that feeling. What did it feel like when you heard that idea, experienced that event, or were told that story? It hit you to your core. You received a jolt of energy.
Can you remember a time when someone was telling a personal story or talking about something that really struck you to your bones — in which you related with them so deeply that it felt like you wanted to reach out to give them a hug?
That’s resonance and the difference is emotion. Energy. Going one step further, perhaps a couple of days after hearing their story, you were randomly reminded of what that person was talking about? Somehow some small part that resonated with you popped up coincidentally in your life?
That’s exactly what is meant by when you hear spiritual teachers, mystics, and quantum physicists talk about creating synchronicities. It’s when you match the energy of that “something” that is beyond yourself. Whether it’s an idea, a concept, a person, a place, an opportunity, or literally anything, resonance takes hold.
Your energy and the energy of that thing have now synced. You and “it” have become a vibrational match, and you ultimately begin to attract that “thing” into your physical world.
Here’s the catch though, resonance is happening all the time beyond your conscious intentions. Your energy is always matching with something which means you keep manifesting more of that something in your life.
How do you know what you’re unconsciously resonating with? Again, what are you interested in?
As Einstein so wisely pointed out: “Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it; he who doesn’t, pays it.”
